Menstruation during implant?

Hii I've been on my implant for 3days today, I was wondering if you guys got your period after getting the implant and is it still the same cycle as before? Been having headaches and dizziness here and there but its very minimal, and I've been having small mood wings. Like a minute i was very happy and after I was about to cry. Its super minimal. And my sex drive i think went up rather than down 😂

Progestin only methods like the implant are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding (including no bleeding at all), random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. Other side effects/symptoms, such as what ur experiencing, are also possible & normal at any given time. It literally just depends on how ur individual body reacts to it.
