How did you make it through your rough patch? What was the root of the issue? If you parted ways, how did you come to that conclusion? Serious answers only.

Communication is key. Try to listen to each other and understand what the other says not just jump into conclusions, if not sure ask and try to understand why the other one is acting the way he or she does.

Us was basically communicating when one felt a certain way or was unhappy.  We both agreed if I wasn’t pregnant we both wanted to end things.  I got a ad on Facebook for this app called lasting and honestly it helped so much cause we couldn’t afford real counseling.  We have canceled just cause it does have a monthly fee to it but we agreed if we ever start feeling that way again we’d redownload it.  It basically asks you the same question and you both answer it and then at the end you see each other’s answers and it helped both of us realize that what we think is ok the other doesn’t. It helped us work a lot on communication.

Lying and hiding behavior. We got through it with therapy and a strong willingness from both of us to fix it.
