2 vessels umbilical cord

I went to the er last night because i was cramping really bad and they found the i have a 2 vessel umbilical cord and an abnormally large cyst on my overy that will need monitored closely for the remainder of my pregnancy. Im 18wks 5days. They made the 2 vessel umbilical cord sound really serious and that i will have to be put on high risk. Has anyone else had this? What all did they do to monitor it? How was/is your lo health?
