Natural birth in a hospital

Heather

Hi natural birth mamas! I’m due in 6 weeks and planning on giving birth in a hospital with as few interventions as possible! I’ve talked to my doctor and she’s very supportive (although a little surprised). Most of her patients get epidurals. What tips do you have for staying on track.

1) how do I fend off continuous EFM

2) how do I keep moving while they want to monitor

3) how do I make sure they let me stay in the bath as long as possible

4) what positions did you push in? did hospital staff give you a hard time or try and coach you onto your back?

5) did anyone push/deliver outside of the bed? did hospital staff try and get you back in bed?
