Twins?

Question

I posted my ultrasound to calm someone else’s nerves and some lady said she sees two sack linings in one picture. Since my grandma is an identical twin it could be possible. I‘m freaking out a little bit because I wouldn’t be ready for two baby’s! 
Anyone here that has twins or any experience in it because before that woman mentioned it, I didn’t even thought of it. Pictures is from 5+5 and I’ll have my next scan next Thursday.

Just wanted to say identical twins aren’t genetic so if you do have identical twins it’s just by chance not genetic :) best of luck

I’m pregnant with twins & had multiple early ultrasounds. This is just one baby.

If your doctor suspects two they will tell you. Otherwise i wouldn’t think too much of it.

I have identical twins. This ultrasound is not of twins.
Also, Your grandmother being an identical twin has no impact on your chance of having twins. Identical twins are a complete fluke and happen in 1/250 pregnancies. Fraternal twins in the family can increase the chance of you have twins if your inherited the hyper ovulation gene. Regardless, this is absolutely not an ultrasound showing fraternal or identical di/di twins as there is clearly only one sac. I don’t see where mo/di or mo/mo twins would be either.
