My son has done mostly well potty training. He wears underwear all day when we’re home and pees in his potty regularly without us prompting. In the last week he’s been holding his poop and won’t go #2 on the potty. I can watch him try to stop it while he’s standing and I’ll run him straight to the potty and he won’t do it. He’s been leaving nickel sized spots in his undies from trying to hold back the poop. What do I do, he’s getting very irritated in that area and obviously tummy trouble from holding it. The only time he truly does #2 is if I’ve put his diaper back on before nap time.

Also when is a good time to try naps and car rides with no diaper?
