Can someone explain to me why people stare at me like I’m completely insane when I tell them that instead of getting my tubes tied, my husband is going to get a vasectomy? It’s like they cannot comprehend the idea. People have been genuinely shocked by the idea and I’m just like 🙄😐.

When I mention him getting clipped, they’re like “but why don’t you get your tubes tied” or “why don’t you..insert random idea...” “you should...insert annoying statement..” it’s always me, me, me. Like I understand I’m the one who gets pregnant but it is NOT only my responsibility to prevent it. 🙄

I carry the baby, I birth the baby, I deal with the raging hormones, I deal with the after effects. Why can’t HE get clipped??
