Need to pump if baby sleeping thru the night?

Hi all, so I have a 2 month old. Blessedly she only wakes once a night to breastfeed. As she gets a little older and starts sleeping through the night, will I still have to wake in the night to pump? If I don’t will I become engorged and reduce my milk supply? 
Mamas of older babies, how did this work out for you? Thanks!

Nope, your body will adjust. I never pumped over night.

If you want to keep your supply up yes. If you were only pumping it would need to be every 2-3 hours until youre 12 weeks and then only every 3-4 hours until like 6 months to maintain. Not doing nights is the quickest way to decrease supply

I only pumped at night if I woke up and felt uncomfortable. Still nursing at 22 months, so I guess it worked out ok.

No. I never once pumped. Once she started sleeping thru the night, my supply adjusted, it was uncomfortable for a couple nights but nothing unbearable. Your supply will not dip if u continue nursing on demand during the day.

I did until around 6 months... then emphatically quit and now just wake up before the little darling to pump off the excess first
