Do you kiss your baby on the lips or the cheek?

My husband and I are watching the Super Bowl and we were talking about how Tom Brady kisses his teenage kids on the lips and realize we’ve never kissed our June baby on the lips.It’s always been the cheeks!
So do you kiss you 7-8 months old on the lips, cheeks or both?

On the lips, I think it’s a pretty normal way to teach our children affection. 
 Although I’m not sure about on the lips during teenage years.. 
 Cheeks will always be kissed no matter what age though 😂🥰

Cheek. Its safer. What if you get a cold and before you realize it you've spread it to the baby.

The thing that pisses me off is when my mil kisses him on the lips 🤨

I do both. His lips are more slobbery these days so I did it more in his smaller days. I think as a teenager it’s odd to see. I think I was like maybe 8 when I started thinking it was weird to kiss my parents on the mouth and just stopped. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not against the lips but them being so little and I know all the germs in the mouth (I’m a dental hygienist) I try not to until he’s older. My husband says absolutely not but I know it’s gonna happen especially when our LO learns how to haha

I do both! When baby starts learning how to kiss don’t be surprised if it’s on the mouth! When my 2.5 y/o was a baby I looked it up, I forget what the reason for it is exactly but a baby will even grab you by the face and kiss you on the lips. I think it had something to do with recognizing that it was something you do with your mouth and associating it with kissing your mouth. My daughter just started doing it the last few days and it’s always on the mouth. My 2.5 year old will still sometimes kiss me on the lips. I’m sure as he gets older it will change.
