No heartbeat detected we’re praying for the best!

We had an ultrasound yesterday to see how far along I am, and a transvaginal ultrasound had to be done because they couldn’t see the baby and said I’m probably not 8-9 weeks like I estimated. Turns out I’m approx. 7 weeks 3 days and I spoke to a nurse this morning who was able to go over the results with me and said they weren’t able to detect a heartbeat and it’s not normal. They also said I would probably miscarry when I asked. I have an appointment with my obgyn next week to see what’s next. This is our first pregnancy and our hearts are shattered thinking the worst.
