How do you clean yourself after pooping?

I’m doing this to see what majority of people do. I didn’t put wipes because I consider it the same as toilet paper, plus it’s not good for our Ph balance. I personally use water because it’s more hygienic than only using toilet paper. I’m wondering those who use only paper if you truly feel clean afterwards and does it stink at all? Feel sticky down there? I can’t picture myself only using toilet paper only unless I’m in public and don’t have water access.
