Hi! Are there any ultrasound techs out there that could tell me something? I’m curious to know if Transvaginal ultrasounds are mirrored or not. I had my first ultrasound done a couple days ago and I can’t decide if it was flipped or not. My husband was watching the whole thing and at the beginning of the exam, he saw on the screen that the ultrasound was flipped the other way, but the ultrasound they gave me once the tech came in and took over for the student, it was flipped the other way. He was really confused. (As well as neither of them told me the heart rate of my baby.. just showed a 5 second clip and said “there’s the heartbeat” and then they were done, definitely wasn’t happy with the people I got)

But, in other words, I just really want to know, is my baby on my right or left? I’m just confused because I did see where on the screen, things were flipped the other way in the beginning.
