Boil??

I believe I have a boil. It started out as a quarter sized hard lump in my pubic area. I didn’t think much of it because I tend to get ingrown hairs a lot.

I attempted to squeeze it, not thinking anything of it. Yesterday blood and puss came out of it. Today all it does is form a tiny head but won’t pop at all. I stick it with a sterilized pin but it is so sore today. I’ve been taking hot baths but it doesn’t seem to help. Any tips?
