How did back labor feel for you?

I’m in so much pain from my lower back and everything I look up says back labor. If you had back labor, what did it feel like? Especially when it started

Horrible. So horrible. All the pain was in my back, I don’t remember having any contractions in the front. Felt like someone was squeezing my lower back between two 500lb weights

It felt like my back was being run over by a truck and would radiate down toward my legs.

I couldn’t be on my back while they were happening. Helped to be moving around until I wore myself out. I was only able to lay down after the epidural.

I was laying in the hospital bed getting a non stress test. The nurse came to check on me and I told her I couldn’t get comfortable in the bed. She looked at my read out and I was having contractions. My son was sunny side up and Would not flip over. All I remember is that it got to the point where is was the most excruciating pain I had ever had. I just held on to my husband as tight as I could to bear though it. If he let go of my hand I yelled at him to come back!

For me the contractions seemed to start in my back and sort of radiate around to the front
