temperature check..ovulation..?

How does this work,  1st month tracking ovulation with temp, how many times do i need to check it? what do i need to look for?

Temp every morning at the same time as soon as you wake up, without moving about too much. They recommend between 6 and 7am. (I test 6am every morning 😴). You only need to temp once. 
You need to use a bbt thermometer which has two decimal places rather than one. You can get them quite cheap on Amazon. 
It’s up to you whether you temp orally, a vaginally or rectally. I prefer vaginally as I’ve found it more reliable but it’s personal preference. 
In terms of what to look for, you’ll probably have a dip just before ovulation. To confirm ovulation you will need 3 higher temps than the previous 6 ☺️
