Did anyone else have irregular cycles after a miscarriage?

Sorry for the semi-long post-

I had a missed miscarried in October of last year and started to bleed at 11 weeks 3 days. I bled for 4 weeks due to an incomplete miscarriage and needed 3 rounds of cytotec to get everything out. I had an ultrasound in November to confirm everything was out and I was told that everything looked fine.

My first cycle after the loss started at the end of November. I had some mid-cycle spotting through December and was told it wasn't anything to worry about and to give my body time to readjust. In January I had a few days of spotting in the middle of my cycle and horrible back pain for a week.

My husband and I started to ttc again in December (my doctor advised me to wait until after my first period to start trying again) and I started to use OPKs in January. I got a positive opk on CD 18.

I got my period at the end of January and then started spotting 2 days after it ended in February. I continued spotting for almost 2 more weeks and was also passing some clots. I honestly thought maybe I could be miscarrying again, but the pregnancy test I took was negative. I stopped spotting on February 11th and started again on the 14th.

I think my period started today because now I'm bleeding instead of spotting (it was estimated to start tomorrow). I did not get a positive opk this month and I tested from CD 11-21. I could have missed my surge and we still baby danced a lot to make sure we didn't miss ovulation if it occured.

I will add that my actual periods are longer now, about 9-10 days, with heavier bleeding and worse cramping. I expected that for my first period after the loss, but didn't know it would continue.

I am planning to call my doctor's office next week after my period is supposed to end, but I am wondering if anyone else has had irregular cycles after a miscarriage? If so, how long did it take for your cycles to become regular again and did you need medical intervention?

I am so frustrated! This is the start of my 5th cycle and this March will be the 4th month of of ttc. I got pregnant quickly last time and I just want to be pregnant again. 😟
