Pre conception appointment questions?

Hey ladies!! Today’s very exciting for me as I’m going for my first pre conception visit and I was just wondering what are some questions you wish someone answered for you before conceiving or some questions that came up along the way? I’m super nervous but want to make sure I cover everything in this visit that could really help me out😊

I found my pre conception appointment to be totally useless. They just told me to take a prenatal and come back when I was pregnant. That was 3 years ago. That appointment was a total waste. I learned a lot more doing searches on the internet.

Only reason I am glad I went to a preconception appointment was because I would not have known they would do testing before a year of trying since I had chlamydia previously. Plus they had my starting point on file and was easier to get them to look more into why I was not getting pregnant sooner. Other than that I learned more by doing research and joining TTC groups like this one.
