FMLA & maternity leave
So I currently only work two days a week one 10 & one 12 (total of 22hrs a week) I’ve been with my company for 3.5 years. I won’t make the 1250hrs that is required for fmla. Are they technically able to fire me then when I leave to have the baby?? I don’t care about get short term disability, I just want to know if my job would be secured when I came back??? 😞
I have contacted my he just waiting for them to call me back.
When I had my first baby I was working 48hrs a week so qualifying wasn’t an issue.
