Hi, ive been constipated for almost a week. At first, i was concerned about the rapid weight gain before i realized just how long it had been.

I spoke with my doctor, who told me to take a laxative to move things along. However, i read that laxatives knock out your pill. Its been about eight hours since my last, but im not sure if i want to risk it. Is it safe? I see mixed things.
