Yeast infection?

Hello! I am 18, and I do have diabetes which I know can cause higher risk for yeast infections, also never had any sort of sexual contact so STDs are not the case, but I am having awful dry and flaking skin on the inside lower labia. I really have no clue what it is and I am terrified to go to the student clinic. It's itchy and burns the way dry skin does it is just on the inside of my labia and around the very edge. Please any info would be great.
