Is dipping a FRER accurate?

Just wondering, I didn’t have the box with me so I didn’t read the directions (I know first mistake). I usually pee right on the stick but I was taking a cheapie at the same time so I just dipped them both for 10 seconds. I got a definite second line on the cheapie but a super faint one on the FRER. I would expect the FRER to be darker?

Ok one more question, I did get a darker line on the first FRER last night (not dipping it). Should I be worried the line was lighter this morning? I assumed it would be darker with fmu but it was not. I thought maybe it was a FRER issue bc the lines on my cheapies are progressing nicely. Tx!
