Spotting and cramping

I have PCOS and I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I started having bad cramps a little over a week ago, I didn't start spotting until about 3 or 4 days ago. Its been usually brown blood. Ranging in color from light to dark but usually a darker brown kinda purplish color. I have an appointment at the doctor on Wednesday. I called last week but they didn't have availability until this upcoming week. I'm just trying to get mentally prepared for what I may find out. I know PCOS can cause cramping and I know some spotting can be normal, but usually not together. I'm just curious if any other women with PCOS had this combination of symptoms and what the outcome was.
