If he knows what he did was wrong, he apologized, and has made the effort to change/better himself as a person and can show he's changed, that's good enough. Nooooooooope. You not suppose to be his mother. Mothers teach, guide, and instruct. A partner should come ready, capable and able to sustain and fufill the qualifications of the position.
