Round ligament pain???

Question

Hey ladies im a first time mom here and have just started experiencing a very sharp stabbing pain near my left hip. The pain gets worse with sudden movements however its still aching when I’m at rest. I initially thought it may be round ligament pain but when I google it it says round ligament pain should only last a few seconds and should stop when at rest. Has anyone else experienced this kind of on going pain?

I get it too, if I turn over in bed too fast or cough and sneeze while I'm laying on my back with my legs straight out it feels like my ovary is being ripped. It is normal and it's normal for it ache. It's just the muscles in your stomach have extra strain on them.

I had bad round ligament pain at 26weeks with my daughter. It was so bad I couldn't walk for 3 days I had to stay home from work, I even went to the DR and they said round ligament pain. So that could definitely be what you have. Mine started when I over did it painting crown molding, I was just stretching too much and too long on top of baby growing
