Today my husband and I were chatting when I got a weird, urgent feeling. I cut him off mid sentence like “sorry for interrupting- I’ve just had something pop into my head that I HAVE to say out loud for some reason. It doesn’t even make sense...” and then at the exact same time, we both said “spaghetti legs”. We looked at each other like 😲 what just happened?! But neither of us have any idea why we were even thinking those words or why we thought them at the same time. It was so bizarre!

I’ve had a few things like this happen over the years and the whole phenomenon of not being able to explain them logically is absolutely fascinating to me.

Another instance was when I’d driven past my parents parked on the side of the road, and turned my car around to go check they were ok. They weren’t at the car but I could see my mothers umbrella inside so I figured she’d maybe ran out of petrol and was walking to the nearest station, so I got back in my car and started driving there to give her a ride. Didn’t see her on the way so I pulled over and called her, and she said that both my parents, and the car, were at home. I was like “no I definitely just saw it parked up” and went back to take a photo to prove it, but it was gone. Figured it must’ve been a different car although I was sure it wasn’t, and forgot about it. About a year or so later, my parents sold the car, and later that day I was taking them to collect their new car. On my way to their house, I saw their old car parked up EXACTLY where I’d seen it before. Pulled over, umbrella was in the back again, so I called my dad freaking out a little. He said the new owner of their car had just called him a moment before because she’d ran out of petrol. She was unfamiliar with the area and had basically spent 45 minutes driving around trying to find her way out of town. I ended up finding her walking down the road a little bit, and gave her a ride and some directions. I told her about how I’d seen the whole scenario a year previous and that her and my mum have the same umbrella etc and it turns out they even got it at the same department store, just 150 miles apart.
