How many days off do you take each month?

Just wondering what the average is for full time employees. I take very few days off because I feel like it’s frowned upon, but I have a lot of PTO saved up and think I should use more of it.

I average 1-2 days a month of planned PTO. I use all of my PTO every year because it's part of your compensation. The company has already budgeted for that expense, along with your wages and whatever other benefits you get. Good companies want you to use your PTO because they know even (or especially) the best workers need a break now and then to save you from burnout.
That said, I know what it's like to work at  places where they frown on you for taking PTO, even if you have a ton of hours built up. Those are the same places that ended up being a toxic work environment and were emotionally and mentally draining. I never want to go back to that life of having no work-life balance.

I get 15 vacation days each year so I usually split that up and take one week in June, August and September. Other than that I don’t really take any time off. The only exception would be appointments which I just use a sick day for since it rarely happens on work hours.

I earn 6 hours pro every 2 weeks and usually wait to use it until I can do a week at a time. I also usually take it alongside holidays. I take around 2 week long vacations a year and a couple of days here and there. I’m currently saving up time so I can take a 2 or 3 week vacation every other winter.
