Subchronic hematoma?

Hi ladies. 
After reading my US report they noted a “small subchronic hematoma”.  
Just messaged my midwife, waiting for her to call me back. 
Anyone experience this? I am dating about 7w5d. 
Baby looked healthy and had a strong heartbeat.

It’s just a little bleed behind the placenta and usually resorbs on its own with very little issue but you could experience spotting or bleeding because of it on occasion

Yep, from about weeks 5 to 10. At my 10 week scan is when I learned it cleared up. It’s really common and rarely a problem! I just had brown and pink spotting constantly over those weeks until one day it was just gone

Yes, I had a small one at 8 weeks, it resolved within about a week. They had told me to avoid sex until all bleeding/spotting stopped, and to avoid working out or intense physical activity until my next ultrasound at 12 weeks. (My OB later told me that not working out for a month was unnecessary, due to coming in on short notice I went with whoever was available. That being said, I felt better being cautious).
