Plan B

I thought I would share my experience to maybe provide some comfort to those who are worried that Plan B isn’t going to work. I took Plan B the same day as intercourse and the next several days was my ovulation time. I know that Plan B should stop ovulation or keep the egg from being fertilized. I had ovulation bleeding so I started to get real concerned Plan B wouldn’t be effective if I was ovulating. I’ve also never in my life had ovulation bleeding. My period due date came and went. By day 5 of being late I was very concerned. I know Plan B can mess up your cycle, I have taken it before and never had that issue. I was almost going to take a pregnancy test and then the next I got my period and cramps. So if you’re worried, either wait for your period or take a test to ease your mind. Now I know that just because Plan B never effected me before, doesn’t mean I can’t have a time where it does mess up my cycle. Also to note, I know Plan B isn’t a substitute for birth control.
