Sorry for the lengthy post. I'm posting because I want to see if anyone else has had this issue, and if there's a way to fix it. Google has not been helpful.

I made my registry through amazon since I'm having a virtual baby shower. I've started receiving packages, and I thought I was seeing all the items come off the registry as they were being purchased (you can see who purchased what when you look at the "thank you" section).

I noticed my cousin bought me the diaper pail I put on there, and that was the only thing listed as purchased by her. However, I received 4 different boxes from Amazon that said they were from her??

I hadn't planned on opening the boxes because I wanted to do that on the zoom call, but I was so confused so I opened them up. The gifts inside were actually wrapped, which is great because it'll still be a bit of a surprise, but in each box was SEVERAL gift bags - all from my cousin who is still listed as having only bought the diaper pail. Huh?

When the items come gift wrapped they also come with envelopes that have a list of the items inside, so I took those out to see if maybe these were gifts she bought from Amazon, but not from the registry...but nope. They are almost all gifts from the registry, and those items are still listed as not purchased on my registry.

So now I'm worried because I have a bunch of items already purchased off the registry that are still available to be purchased (and yes, I have the number set to only one of each).

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? I don't want to end up with a bunch of duplicates 😭
