Did you get blood test to find out gender?

I had heard that you can get a blood test done but when I asked, they said there wasn’t a test and you found out at anatomy scan. I knew that wasn’t true but left it alone. I still curious if anyone had similar experiences.

It’s the NIPT test, a lot of times not covered by insurance which might be why your doctor doesn’t offer it. You could try looking for a third party office that does it, but be prepared to cover the cost!

The NIPT test checks for genetic abnormalities and can also reveal the sex. It depends where you are if it’ll be offered and if you’re in the US your insurance might not cover it. It can be extremely expensive.

I did NIPT because my baby was high risk for Down syndrome, but I can’t imagine spending that much money just to find out the gender. I’m 37 so my insurance paid for it after my dr noted my risk levels, but without insurance it was close to $700.

I paid $100 for mine at a private ultrasound clinic. It was worth it to me I can’t wait until 20 weeks I found out at 11.

U can do sneak peek, if done correctly u get accurate results, just make sure to clip your nails, I did it at 8weeks 5days and my prediction was correct
