Spotting with a clot

So I’ve been spotting on and off for 5 days and today I passed a clot but after that everything has stopped for now, my spotting has only even been on and off last a few wipes and leaving but I didn’t deal with a clot until now, no cramping either. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow but I won’t be getting an ultrasound for another week or so I’m currently around 5-6 weeks. These are my tests going back to Friday till today (Monday) and they’re still progressing very well I know it doesn’t mean my pregnancy is successful but if my baby passed it shouldn’t keep getting stronger should it?
