So I have the owlet which I know can give off false alarms. But when my baby was a newborn it went off. When I lifted him up he was limp and I couldnt tell if he was breathing I starting patting him on his back and he started crying. 
Well hes 10 months now and this just happen again his alarm went off I ran over there he was limp I started patting him on his back nothing his dad took him from me and lifted him up he started crying. But I swear I dont think he was breathing has this happen to anyone with it. Am I tripping his dad said he dont think he was either. I'm just soo scared now.
If you do have this product whats your experience?

I think you should go have your son looked at and see if you can talk with a specialist that sounds serious and I don't think it was an error in the owlet

i don’t have any advice, i’m sorry, this is why i avoided buying this product aside from the fact that it was so expensive and would only fit my babies feet for so long. also as a new mom you’re like HAWK watching your kid always, so something like the owlet would only make me more concerned. i would stop using it, but i also am not familiar with the product that’s just my personal opinion

I’ve never had a false alarm on the owlet.  Just sock placement errors (my son has CP and curled feet so the sock didn’t always fit great).  Did you take him in after either of these incidents?  If not, and it happens again, take him in for monitoring immediately.  I’d also bring it up at his next dr appt and keep a screenshot of his stats for that night

That’s so scary! There’s a chance baby’s nasal passageway is narrow. Does baby snore? Babies are not supposed to snore regularly although the occasional snores and snuffles do happen.
There’s also a chance that it was coincidence and baby was just in a 
sleep cycle where he was breathing very lightly and may have just cried from being woken up from a good sleep. 
Call the pediatrician ASAP and ask what they think and if they think a sleep study might be necessary. 💕

My son is now 2. The only time I’ve ever had a red alert with him I swear when we went to get him he was either in extremely deep sleep or he wasn’t responding/breathing either. This was when he was about 10 months old. It never happened again but we’ll never know if it was false or if the owlet helped prevent a tragedy.
