Son will be a year this month and still nursing him. Anyone get pregnant while breastfeeding.

I got pregnant with my second when I was still breastfeeding my first at 17 months old. I weaned her at 20 months because it just got to be too painful.

12M after my first with 1 cycle before- nursed for a few more weeks and then she was done
9M after my second with no cycles- nursed until 15M
13.5M after my third with no cycles- nursed until 15M a few days ago

Yes, I became pregnant with my second while I was still breastfeeding my first. I had not gotten my period yet; therefore, calculating how far along I was and when conception occurred was difficult. I was about four months along when I had to accept that I had to be pregnant as my abdomen was not growing in proportion to how much I was eating.
