How normal is it to barely feel baby moving at 28w with a anterior placenta?

I’m 28 weeks and have an ap as well, I don’t feel consistent movement and had a nst done late last week and baby was definitely moving a lot, just literally can’t feel it.. they said it does happen, my baby just is still right below the placenta so I’m not feeling anything. I asked about what to do since movement isn’t consistent and they said just to come in and they’ll do an nst/ultrasound if I’m ever worried..

My doctor continues to reassure me that it’s normal unfortunately. I’m in the same boat also 28 weeks along. There are some days where I can definitely feel her if shes positioned in the correct way but some days where it’s barely little taps. It’s so unnerving!!

My first pregancy, my daughter had a antierior placenta and I barley ever felt her. Only at night and her kicks werent very strong. Now that I’m pregnant with my second and she has a posterior I can definitely see ans feel the difference then the first. I feel this baby all day long and very strongly compared to my first.
