Not invited to aunts wedding?

Question

I am the first niece to my aunt and was not invited to her wedding. I had my grampa fly out with family to attend the wedding and no one ever asked to see me. We all live in the same city and my mom went with her boyfriend and my half sister. It’s been about 1 1/2 since this happened and I refuse to talk to her or grandpa because I won’t be that “bastard child”. I refuse. Even more disappointed in my mother for taking her bf and not me. 
Note: I didn’t have a bad relationship with my aunt. She just choose to always fight and accuse me mom of things she didn’t do and I played no part in it. 
Am I wrong for feeling neglected? I hadn’t seen my grandpa in years and the fact that he came and I wasn’t included in a family wedding hurt.

You’re not entitled to attend anyone’s wedding, but you have the right to feel any way you choose. That being said, it wasn’t your moms place to bring you if you weren’t invited.

I feel like there’s bits missing from this. If the drama was originally between your aunt and your mom, why was your mom still invited and not you? Did you ever try talking to her about it? Maybe she assumed your mom would bring you so didn’t send out two different invites. Did you try talking to your Grandpa and ask if he would come see you? Or just get mad he didn’t automatically come visit? My Grandpa died a little over a year ago, don’t hold it against him and ignore him. You never know when someone’s going to go and you don’t want to regret it.

Were any nieces or nephews invited? Were you one of many not invited or the only one of your entire generation (all the cousins)? Did you try to see your grandpa outside of the wedding? Like invite him over for dinner? You’re refusing to talk to them but claim to feel neglected. Relationships take energy and effort. If you’re not willing to put it in, why should they?

If u dont hv a good relationship with your aunt then why are u upset. The wedding is about your aunt and whom she wants there to celebrate her day. You should focus on resplving your issues and your relationship with her beyond trying to go to her wedding.

It was wrong for you mom to go if you weren’t invited. That’s plain disrespectful. If my children couldn’t go somewhere I wouldn’t go especially if it wasn’t their fault
On the issues going on. I’m sorry b your entire family is in the wrong especially your mom because she had no problem going and taking her bf on top of that. Confront your Aunt and mom about it because you guys have no issues so wtf?

life is way too short, and anything can happen not to talk to your loved ones. i understand you may be hurt, but it’s the past you can’t change it now. not talking to them isn’t going to change it. you can communicate your feelings towards them, and depending on how they respond to it then okay cut them out of your life... i don’t think the way you’ve been carrying this, just for this reasoning is very rational.
