Literally everything has a warning tag from "known to cause *x* in the state of California" on it. Lamps, my toaster, pretty sure my coffee pot and my vacuum as well. Probably my microwave too. First time seeing it on clothes, usually its anything with a cord. Even the electric pump for our air mattress like 5 years ago had the tag on it.

They are on a lot of things. I would wash them before I wore them, because of that warning, and just bc you never know where they came from/what could be on them. That label, especially bc Cali has tons of restrictions, is on fake Christmas trees, extension cords, mattresses of some types, etc....

It’s pretty much a disclaimer on everything. Not a big deal to me. Just wear the pants or don’t. But then you’d need to see everything around you if you’re that worried
