3.5 year old bed wetting.
Want to start by saying I understand bed wetting is normal at this age, I'm not worried or anything, just looking advice on the way forward.
My 3.5 year old had been wearing disposable nighttime pull-ups since she was potty trained at 2. We have tried to stop the pull-ups several times. She will be dry during the night for months, then we stop the pull-ups and suddenly she is wetting the bed every night and also starts having accidents during the day as well. So after a few days we go back to pull ups and she's back to being dry all night and no daytime accidents.
I'm not sure I understand why this is happening. Anyone any insight? Any advice on if I should stick with pull-ups or try for longer spells without them? We've only managed a weeks without as I worry she's not getting good sleep if she's waking up while I've to change and clean her and change the bed.
I'm keen to move away from the pull-ups because they are so expensive and I'm creating so much waste using one everyday. I've looked for a resumable alternative in the UK but no luck.
All advice welcome please. Thank you.
