Post fight blues
Me and my partner have been together 6 years. I’ll spare details but we got into a huge fight this last weekend. It was our worst one yet and we both really hurt each other emotionally (no cheating or anything like that, more of a differing opinion on a certain value). We have since made up but now but the littlest thing will have us both overly sensitive and lash out at each other. How do we get back the affection and sensitivity towards each other? For example, he wanted to go out tonight but he didn’t invite me. He went out last weekend (went to his sisters because the fight was that bad) and the weekend before that as well (I was sick that weekend) told him to go out tonight because I suggested we have space tonight because for some reason we can’t be nice to each other. Before I told him to go out I said what if I wanted to go out to? (We have kids) He then told me to go out. Just like he couldn’t care less to spend time with me. This is all childish but I don’t know what to do
