I think admin are artificially inflating followers somehow. I’ve noticed a lot of brand new accounts with a ton. 
They’re definitely inflating likes on certain posts. I saw one awhile ago that had 500 within a single minute of being posted

There’s def something up with the followers....no legit reason why I have so many, so I thought it was a glitch. There were a few days in a row I’d log in and TONS of people followed me. It literally means nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think this is controversial because it’s never been explained to us how it happens.
It also hasn’t been explained to us why our accounts have likes on the accounts that once held, or still hold ambassador badges.  
I’d like to know how & why it happens.

I have a feeling the app automatically follows people the algorithm thinks you’ll like based on how many times you’ve upvoted their comment. Every other day I’m getting a message saying “this person started following you, follow them back!” 
I’ve had to go in and actively unfollow people that I never followed to begin with because they just appeared randomly, even though I never purposefully followed anyone.

I have random followers and I have people that I 'follow' that I never went out of my way to follow so I honestly have no idea what the point is or how it happened.

How did I get so many followers???
