How to stop nursing?

We have stopped nursing during the day and now only nursing at bed time. Since we have stopped during the day she wants to nurse ALL night long. I know it’s just for comfort and not actual milk but I’m so tired and feel like she should be able to sleep the night now. We have never had a full nights sleep. Any tips/advice?

When my first weaned, my husband had to take over nights until she got over the fact she wasn’t getting the boob anymore for comfort. It took about a week and it was not pleasant... but it did work. He would give her a cup of whole milk before bed and that’s all she got until morning. If she got up at night he would calm her down/hold her and put her back in her crib. It was a process, first few nights she was up a lot but once she learned she wasn’t getting it, she slowly cut back
