First appointment

I just had my first appointment, the doctor said I’m measuring at 8 weeks. I know I’m seven or less. I asked her if I could hear the heartbeat but she said its to early and I will not be able to hear it till I’m about 12 weeks. Is that true? Tbh I can’t remember with my first when I heard it but I know it was earlier then 12.

Please ladies let me know when you heard your babies heart beat and which ultrasound was used. I’m kind of worried. Thank you!
