Looking for more insight into labelling gender

Th

I consider myself someone who tries their best to include everyone and to accept all in the lgbtq+ community. Although I am part of the community myself I’m not certain about certain aspects surrounding gender identity.

While I understand she/her he/him they/them and I also understand dressing and identifying as a certain gender. I don’t understand the fluidity that people can be a different gender depending on the day. I do understand some days feeling the want to dress more feminine and the next more masculine, however I don’t understand the need to change your pronouns depending on the day. The reason I don’t understand is because gender is a social construct, meaning there is no reason for feminine dress to be associated with she/her and masculine with he/him. Meaning of words change all the time. So why does the need to still label ones pronouns differently depending on their feeling of the day? also doesn’t this leave people open to be misgendered more often and then leaving them feeling down.

This isn’t to be confused with people claiming it’s a “choice”. It’s not a choice. I guess I’m just looking for clarity on why some change their pronouns when it can have its own meaning for themselves.

I really hope this comes across respectively.
