too early to take a test?

i had unprotected sex all Valentine’s weekend (i was ovulating) then i had unprotected sex the next Friday, a lot. we did it for hours. my period then came a week early which is abnormal (my period has become very regular in that last year. I get it on the exact day I’m supposed to) but i didn’t pay much attention to (it was a full period. very heavy and lasted the normal time)

so a week ago we had sex again, a lot, and then two days later i had some light spotting that could very well be implantation bleeding. my tracker says i still have 2 days left of my fertile week and for the most part don’t have any symptoms but i don’t know if it’s too early to take a test because my period is in two weeks.

is it too early or should i wait?

please leave comments about protecting myself because it has all been with the same person and i have a financially stable adult with a good job, house and car. i know i need to take a test i just need to know if it’s too early.
