Did accutane/isotretinoin work for you?

Guys I’m on DAY 2 of taking accutane for mild acne (pustules mainly) and I’m on 1x10mg per day.
Would love to know which day you started seeing side effects and what they were. Also did it work? Were the side effects worth it?
Most importantly! At what week did you start to see a positive change in your skin??

My mom had accutane back when she was younger and had a shit ton of terrible side effects after, including major loss of hearing and bad memory/processing problems, and has since went on to have cancer twice (once on her face, other was breast.) although the cancer cannot be tied to it of course, I still involve accutane in considering whether it may have been involved in the cancers. My best friend was recently on it, and had similar side effects ( + the usual non stop dry lips) and absolutely regrets going on accutane. She also has had her acne come back quite a bit. I don’t want to scare you, but if you have any other options, I would highly recommend considering them!❤️ best of luck

Hi, yes for me got much worse before it got better and then started to improve around month 3.. good luck! I’m sure it will help but just give it time

Dont want to scare you but my acne got 100x worse the first months. Once it started to clear my face was full of scars that i didnt had before(caused from that worst phase). Also my acne returned.
Only thing that worked for me was changing my lifestyle, clean eating, exercise, some herbs and supplements, tons of water, meditation... my face has been clear for some years now.

accurate purges skin so it will get much worse before it gets better. i wouldn’t use it for mild acne
