What Would You Do? (STI)

Hello Ladies,

I need some help - I have been seeing a man for a little while now and we’ve been sleeping together using a condom each time. I am a nurse, so I know medication when it catches my eye. The other day I noticed that he had a prescription box for a medication commonly used to treat cold sores, and sometimes genital herpes. I was never aware of this and I feel like this would be something you’d tell your partner if you are intimate. I know that there is a chance that perhaps he is prone to cold sores, and he takes it as a suppressor... but that just of course doesn’t sit well with me. What would you do in my situation ?

Do I bring it up? Or should I get tested and ask him why I am being tested positive for Herpes (I get tested EVERY single time after being exposed to a new sexual partner protected or not)
