I left it up to Mother Nature for my first, but ended up with a c-section due to life-threatening complications. This time I’m leaving it up to God, my amazing OB, and science! Mother Nature would kill me and my baby if I didn’t let science intervene, so I’m very grateful to live in the time period we are in!

I was induced with my first because of hypertension. Being induced again with my second for the same reason. 
But, let me tell you what I learned about myself. It's that I personally am too afraid/anxious to go into natural labor. My biggest fear is the pain escalating and being 25 min from the hospital would feel like a LIFETIME if my water broke. Then there is the fear of me delivering in my car. I'm a hormonal mess. But I know for me, even if it wasn't medically needed for me to be induced, I would beg for induction.

I actually naturally went into labor on the day of BOTH of my inductions (one was 40+5 and one was 39+1). I am asking to be induced this time because i am in so much physical pain, bc my husbands a doctor and i want to make sure he’s there and so i can arrange for childcare for my other 2. All labors are good and right for you if that’s what you (or nature) decides!

I have a c section due to the extensive abdominal surgeries and adhesions I have. It’s the best way to protect my chance to have more kids.
