Milk after one?

Has anyone decided to have baby drink almond or coconut milk instead of cows milk after they turned one??? 
Currently breastfeeding but when we start to wean I was wondering about almond milk instead of cows?? I myself drink more almond milk and rarely cows milk 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Almond milk doesn’t match the fat of whole cow milk BUT is just fine so long as you’re replacing those fats in diet.  Like cheese, yogurt, chia, nut butters, etc

Pea protein milk like Ripple brand is a better substitute for cows milk nutritionally speaking but it is incredibly hard to find, at least in my area so like others have said just make sure you supplement the almost milk with foods that will replace the nutritional value of cows milk.

If you do an alternative milk just make sure you give fats in other forms. Also see if you can use a fortified alternative milk. We get a lot of our vitamin D as children from fortified cows milk. But a good multivitamin should also help.

You don't even need to give any milk at all if you don't want to as long as she's getting a well balanced diet and lots of healthy fats

We don’t do dairy. She drinks water and is a healthy 2.5 year old! She tried soy milk and almond milk, but doesn’t drink them often. 
Milk is not necessary for healthy kids.

After one years old, any or no milk at all is fine. If you’re going with no milk or a milk alternative you just need to make sure they are getting what they need nutritionally from other sources like yoghurt or cheese or other non-dairy sources of fat/protein/calcium, etc.
I continued to breastfeed my first once a day until he was 22 months so we didn’t have any additional milk as a drink but he did sometimes have milk on cereal and other dairy foods like cheese and yoghurt, both foods he loved (and still loves).

My baby drank Almond milk due to milk allergy/sensitivity.  He’s doing great with that and regular diet.  Whole milk is better nutritionally if you have the option.  But either way is safe.
