Blood tests for husband prior to seeing fertility specialist

Hi all.

We are seeing a fertility specialist for the first time in a few weeks. My doctor wrote me a pathology form for myself for progesterone and AMH. My question is, should my husband be having any bloods taken prior to the appointment? Did yours? Or did they just get their sperm sample looked at during the appointment?

I will need to get him in to a gp this week to get the blood work form If he needs anything so wanting to ask the question now so I have time to organise before our appointment.
