Husband Spilled Major Beans

My husband and I elected to have a boy first via IVF. We intend to transfer a girl on the second round.

He just announced to his family that 1) we’re going to have another and 2) it’s going to be a girl.

I’m beyond upset and furious for the fact that he didn’t even feel it was a necessary discussion to have with me. I specifically ensured no information leaked in case something went wrong and I feel like gender is the only element of announcement excitement we had left. He has now taken it away and put pressure on. Has anyone else been in a similar boat? I feel like the next pregnancy attempt excitement has already been entirely wiped out before we even got close to the starting line. The IVF process is so unfairly miserable for the woman. Why couldn’t I have ONE thing?
