Im confused ... Im a month & 5 days post partum ?

Question

I started bleeding right after labor with severe cramps and pinch of blood with clots ! Doctor had to describe me 3 medications and besides that stay longer at the hospital to make sure at the time after labor this wasnt something serious of the clots ... Anyways went home after being in the hospital for 4 days . i went on bleeding and having clots at home ! They went smaller in size but cramps were insane until 4 days back i stopped bledding it went on being pink in the ending of 18 March . woke up today with a clot and more bleeding again & cramping isnt a joke either 😫 my 6 week post Partum appointment isnt until the 31 of March smh

Im really scared ??? What could this possibly be .

I bleed until 2 days before my appointment. With clots everything was normal.

I passed large and small clots for nearly 9 weeks postpartum. I visited my doctor about 3 weeks in just to make sure everything was normal, and it was. Call your doctor if you’re worried (like I did) but your photos look normal.

I'd say this is normal 🤷🏼‍♀️ I bled for 5 weeks after my first, 4 weeks after my second and I'm 10 weeks pp with my third now and have only been able to stop wearing a pad for around a week 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had one the size of a tennis ball come out lol it was fine but you should tell your dr.

When you have a baby you have a huge scab where the placenta was, when your almost done healing the scab comes off (around six weeks.) my guess (I’m not a doctor) would be that’s what this is... your final healing bleeding, with all of my babies bleeding picked up around six weeks, and then tapered off.

Could definitely be your body doing the normal clean out, but that one clot in particular looks quite large. My midwife always said any clot bigger than a quarter or a sudden surge of bleeding, call to at least discuss it and see if we need to do anything else. Cramping is good, it means your uterus is contracting so that it shrinks down and pushing out all the extra tissue and everything so that it doesn’t linger and give you an infection. It’s not the most fun part of postpartum, but it is a good and necessary thing. I would call the doc about the clots/bleeding, give them a size comparison for how big that large one is in particular (half dollar, golf ball, whatever). Much worse to not call and/or get checked out and it be serious than it is to call when you might not have needed to.
